PRIVACY SUMMARY

Designed to keep your data with you.

Last updated: September 30, 2026. The extension includes saved prompts, Pro licensing, Continue across AI and local Advanced Search.

What Folderloom stores

Folderloom stores local organization data: folder names, hierarchy, colors and collapse state; conversation references, displayed or custom titles, relative links, folder assignments, bookmark state, order and timestamps; plus local display preferences. When you explicitly save a reusable prompt, its text, title, collection and favorite state are also stored locally. Advanced Search stores text from exports you select and chats you open, scoped to your connected Google account.

Where your data lives

Folderloom organization data, saved prompts and Advanced Search chat-text index stay in Chrome local storage on the device you use. Knoveya does not receive or store these contents or your search keywords. This index does not sync across devices and can be cleared from the search dialog.

Google account and Pro

All Folderloom extension features require a connected Knoveya account with Google sign-in. The extension stores its account session tokens and account ID locally and requests access to api.knoveya.com for account, license and transfer checks. Your folders, bookmarks, saved prompts and search index remain in Chrome local storage, separated by account, and do not sync between devices. After purchase, you enter a Polar license key once to attach Pro to your account; the raw key is discarded. Pro follows that account across devices. License checks never include prompts, AI responses, chat titles, folder names or conversation URLs. When offline after sign-in, local data remains available; account and transfer checks resume when connectivity returns.

Payments

Payments are processed by Polar. Knoveya does not receive or store your card details. Polar provides the license key after purchase.

Continue across AI

After you explicitly choose Read visible chat, Folderloom assembles the text and code currently rendered in that conversation into an editable draft on your device. It may omit earlier unloaded messages, images, files and artifacts. When you choose a different AI, the draft is filled into a new chat on that provider and you decide whether to send it. Folderloom does not upload the draft to Knoveya, Polar or an AI summarizer. Free includes three transfers per UTC month; account-linked Pro has no transfer count limit. Knoveya stores the account ID, linked license ID, and transfer reservation/status timestamps. Knoveya receives no conversation text, title, URL or destination name. Disconnecting the extension revokes its refresh token.

How local workspaces are separated

Folderloom separates data by AI platform and visible account. Claude also includes the visible organization or workspace when available. These labels are combined with an installation-local random salt and hashed into an opaque local workspace fingerprint. Raw labels are used only in memory and are not stored, logged, or sent over the network.

Where Folderloom runs

Extension access is limited to supported conversation pages on chatgpt.com, gemini.google.com, and claude.ai. Folderloom observes visible sidebar metadata needed to organize conversations, reads the current composer draft when you choose Save current prompt, and in Continue across AI reads currently rendered conversation text when you choose Read visible chat. Advanced Search indexes rendered text when you open a chat and reads official exports only when you select a file.

What Folderloom does not collect

Folderloom does not persist unsaved composer drafts, uploaded files, images, account passwords, payment information, advertising data, or browsing activity outside supported ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude conversation pages. Advanced Search does persist text from selected exports and opened chats locally. The handoff temporarily holds a user-reviewed chat draft in extension memory and stores Folderloom session tokens locally after account connection. Saved prompt text stays local and is never sent to Knoveya or Polar.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

Folderloom uses information received from Chrome APIs and visible supported AI sidebars only to provide its disclosed chat organization, local prompt library, account-linked Pro verification, local Advanced Search and user-initiated Continue across AI features. It does not transfer folder or chat organization data to advertisers, data brokers, or other third parties, and Knoveya staff do not read that local data. The use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Monthly prompt emails

If you choose to subscribe, Knoveya stores your email address, consent version and registration status for future emails with 5 prompts each month. We currently collect registrations only: no confirmation email or newsletter is sent, and your address remains unverified. This consent is separate from analytics cookies and does not create a Folderloom account. Contact support to withdraw your consent or request deletion. Existing unsubscribe links remain available for previously verified subscriptions.

Landing page analytics

The Folderloom landing page loads Google Analytics only after you accept analytics cookies, to measure visits, scroll depth and clicks on named calls to action. Accept or reject in the privacy notice; change your choice through Cookie preferences in the landing footer. Your choice is saved in this browser for 180 days. Rejecting stops landing analytics; events before acceptance are not replayed. This preference applies only to the landing page; public guides retain their existing analytics behavior. The YouTube demo and session-based checkout attribution operate independently of this choice. Analytics events never include your email, name, feedback text, AI conversation content, folder data, or extension activity.
